I gotta get on this site. Although, lately I've come to the comfortable rationalization that only a really stupid terrorist would try to hit LA. What, they going to walk out on the 10 Freeway during rush hour and take aout a few SUVs? I think not. Even the stories of tighter security on the LA Metro make me laugh. Now there's a way to kill 5 people - hit the Metro. And I'm not just saying that - I rode the damn thing to work back in 2000 and I was alone during rush hour.
Get a dirty bomb, now you have my attention.

Happy 4th of July Weekend! To me, this means much more than the barrage of fireworks that blanket my neighborhood for a month because my neighbors got huge stashes from Mexico. I means more than that huge burger I'm going to scarf down on Monday. It means that I'm thinking about this country and where it's going. And friends, the news is not good. Sandra Day O'Conner retired, one of the few voices of reason on a highly politiczed Supreme Court. Get ready for the firestorm of Bush's right-winged, religious zealot, partisan nominee (insert name here), and the confirmation hearings. And do you want to be really scared?Bone chilling scared?
